Gianpiero Ciminna is the Executive Pastry Chef at Sweet Passion Desserts. He believes in the importance of creating fresh, quality products with a European modern design. He was previously employed as the Executive Pastry Chef at his family's bakery for ten years. Alongside his wife, Kimberly, they decided to make their dream a reality and open up their very own dessert boutique specializing in Italian and American desserts.
Gianpiero demonstrates a great love and passion for this culinary art. He has expertise in baking breads, cakes, pastries, and cookies. Gianpiero is a gelato maestro making a variety of gelato and sorbetto flavors. He enjoys creating custom designer cakes and wedding cakes for his clients.
In January 2011, he had the opportunity to attend and participate at the SIGEP (International Exhibition Artisan Production of Gelato, Pastry, Confectionary, and Bakery) event in Rimini, Italy. He worked alongside master pastry chefs and further developed his own culinary skills. Gianpiero continues to learn new techniques to create amazing products.
